On 11 July 2025, we arranged the floral decorations for the wedding at Casal Montani of Dalila, from Marino, and Pierfrancesco, from Rome. It was a church wedding, held in the picturesque setting of the Basilica of Santo Stefano Rotondo, followed by a reception for 120 guests at Casal Montani itself.
A boho-chic and boho-rock vibe, blending colour and freedom
Right from our first meeting with the couple, the direction was clear: no rigid structures, no perfect symmetry. Dalila and Pierfrancesco wanted a ‘deconstructed’ wedding in the most beautiful sense of the word, one that would reflect their spontaneity. That’s why we focused on boho-chic wedding flowers, with unstructured arrangements that look as though they’ve just been picked from a field: asymmetrical, imperfect, alive.
The colour scheme bursts with vibrant shades and bold colour combinations, balanced by natural elements such as untreated wood and handcrafted ceramics, creating an atmosphere that is more boho-rock than formal — perfect for a reception designed to foster a sense of conviviality rather than adhere to traditional etiquette.
The layout: two imperial tables and the newlyweds’ table
To seat the guests, we set up two imperial tables, each 20 metres long, with the bride and groom’s table positioned between them – as the focal point of the setting – amongst the rows of the vineyard. Rather than opting for dramatic centrepieces, we chose a rhythm created by small vases scattered along the entire length of the table, each containing just a few stems gathered together: orange zinnias, red roses, pink dahlias and white roses alternate asymmetrically, creating that ‘freshly picked’ effect typical of the boho style. The black tablecloth and transparent chairs provide a neutral backdrop, allowing the colours of the flowers to take centre stage, illuminated by long candles in glass cylinders and small tea lights, with large teardrop chandeliers suspended above the table to complete the atmosphere as the sun sets.

As with every wedding we organise, the process began with a face-to-face discussion with the bride and groom to understand not only their desired style but also the couple’s personality.
