Paolo and Gabriella’s wedding in Casale Sant’Anastasia is the story of a love that has blossomed over the years, celebrated together with their little daughter Emma in front of about 200 guests.

A grand wedding featuring a Catholic religious ceremony, held in the picturesque Basilica of San Sebastiano fuori le Mura on the Appian Way, and continuing at the former hangar in Casale Sant’Anastasia, at the foot of the Castelli Romani.

For this elegant wedding, Il Petalo di Marino designed each arrangement using a refined color palette:

  • Peonies
  • English Roses
  • Hydrangeas
  • Eucalyptus

This combination accompanied the bride and groom from the religious ceremony through the evening reception, maintaining a consistent style across two very different settings: the solemn atmosphere of the basilica and the spacious, contemporary setting of the farmhouse.

Peonies and English roses added structure and a romantic touch to the main arrangements, while hydrangeas and eucalyptus were used to create natural volume without weighing down the overall look. The delicate color palette was consistent with the elegant mood the couple had requested from the very beginning of the project.

A directorial effort on a grand scale

Managing 200 guests and two venues requires experience: every detail—from the church decorations to the centerpieces—was designed to tell the same story seamlessly, while ensuring that the setup and takedown schedules remained compatible with such a packed day.
